Mr.Reid

When he's not teaching high school math in the late 70s, Ed Reid keeps busy making people's real estate dreams come true.

You Can't Go "Rong" with Merv.

Does all his own marketing. Yes way.

Performance Steve

This guy’s all business. His moustache alone has sold a dozen houses.

Who’s yo’ Daddy, Holmes?

That would be Edison “Ed” Samuel; handsome black man, soccer fan and Remax rep extraordinaire, .

The Future of Real Estate Service?

Counting Brads

This is Brad J. Lamb. He sells condos. Lots of condos. And frightens children. Lots of children. This image is one of the reasons Rod Peeler never sleeps.

It’s time to play “Name or menu item?”

In the words of Mr.Leland, my third-favourite single-episode Seinfeld character, I don’t know what this is supposed to be. I'm guessing that Spice Lucks was once a moderately-successful Mary Kay Rep (pink Vespa, instead of the pink Caddy) who now acts as a “conduit assisting with the magical and often very intimate process of finding a place her clients can call home”. She promises to “honour the sharing impulse that guides us to do what is right on all levels”. Service includes complimentary House Whispering.

He never sleeps

Some guys have all the luck. Others make their own, particularly if they never sleep. Say hello to Rod Peeler, the pride of Winnipeg. In business for 24 years, Rod is also available 24 hours a day to help you buy, sell or just party down. It’s his passion for his customers that keep him forever young. Or maybe it’s the red bull and blow. Either way, Peeler’s awesome. Even Maggie May bought a house from this guy. True story.

So I was thinking...

Bankers are boring. So are accountants. You can add project managers and IT guys to that list as well. All kinds of regular folks doing their thing, having long ago given up on their dreams of fame and fortune, content to lead a life of quiet, comfortable normalcy.

Real Estate Agents, however, are a different breed.

Equal parts carney, stage actor, and rock star, these entrepreneurial extroverts are characters worthy of an SNL bit. If SNL was any good. Which it often isn't.

Accordingly, this forum was created to celebrate these extraordinary individuals, in all their glory.
